Part Time Teaching Assistant - Foundation Stage

Contracted hours: Part time (10-15 hrs per week, term time only)

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and understanding learning support assistant to join our strong, highly committed team. Previous experience of working with young children in the foundation stage is essential. This post will be to support the delivery of the Foundation Stage curriculum.

 

The successful applicant will:

  • Have recent experience of working with young children, in the Foundation Stage.
  • Relevant qualifications NVQ L2 or above.
  • Good working knowledge of the FS curriculum and ELG’s
  • Committed to supporting and motivating all children to achieve their best.
  • Have high expectations for both self and pupils
  • Have proven literacy and numeracy skills and be computer literate.
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to use own initiative but also work collaboratively as part of a team.

Orchard infant school is 25 minutes by car from Lymington, Romsey & Southampton. Visits to the school welcome.

 

Hours : 10-15 hours per week on a rota between the hours of 8:30am – 3:30pm

Salary: HCC Grade B: £16905 – £17148 FTE (Part Time , 40 weeks per year)
