Year 2 children raise over £700 for Hythe Pier restoration appeal during community week visit to Hythe

Our Year 2 children had a fantastic day in Hythe where they raised over £700 for the Hythe Pier Heritage Association by singing to shoppers in Hythe precinct and selling items they had made on a stall by the pier. They also met our local MP, Julian Lewis, and had a ride along Hythe Pier on the pier train and visited a church.

Thank you to everyone who made a contribution to their fundraising, a truly fantastic achievement which was gratefully received by the Hythe Pier and will fund several new "planks" for the pier restoration appeal.
