OISA (Orchard Infant School Association) is the Parents Association that supports the school by arranging fund raising activities.
In 2016 OISA purchased a set of IPAD's for use in class.
In 2017 OISA raised over £8000 which contributed towards the cost of the new smartboards in Years 1 and 2.
In 2018 OISA raised £7500 which has partly funded the refurbishment and extension of the Apples and Pears outdoor learning area.
In 2019 OISA raised £8000 which funded a new smartboard in Apples classroom, partially funded the installation of the outdoor classroom benches in our woodland area, repairs to the outdoor playtrails and also funded the purchase of new educational sheds in Year R.
In 2020 OISA raised £3000, was used towards the purchase of a new smartboard in a Pears classroom. This was a fantastic achievement especially considering many of the OISA fundraising events were cancelled due to the COVID pandemic.
In 2021 OISA have raised £4500 which we have used to purchase new Phonics reading books, and towards purchasing a new mobile smartboard for use across the school.
We are currently looking at bigger projects to fund, so there will be lots more fund raising activities coming up.
All events need volunteers to help organise and run them. An hour or two of your time is invaluable to us. Please let us know if you can help.
