The Lemons say 'farewell'

Year 1 Learning (WC Monday 13th July 2020)

Good morning amazing Year 1's! we are in the final week of our virtual learning. Can you believe we have been learning in this way for 14 weeks? No more Purple Mash or Zoom meetings. At last, we will be able to get together and see each other for real either on Friday or the following Monday when you come into school. How exciting!

We are really looking forward to seeing you again and can't wait to have some fun.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge WELL DONE and THANK YOU to all the parents and carers who have made a fantastic effort to help with their child's education during Lockdown.  Your child may not appreciate it yet but they certainly will in the future. You are truly wonderful.

Happy learning everyone and take care.

Lots of love,

Mrs Webb, Miss Strange and Miss Curnow xxx

Quarters - maths day 4

Phonics Video Lesson (Wednesday 24th June)

Good Morning Year 1. We are very sorry to tell you that our phonics video lesson for this week failed to load onto both YouTube and the website which is such a shame! Instead, watch the two video clips below to see what our new sound is for today! We will be looking at the 'e' sound like in egg or elephant! But sometimes, this sound is spelt with the letters 'ea'.

Watch the videos and then go back to the lesson slides where Mr Bump has been VERY cheeky!

Geraldine the Giraffe learns ea as the /e/ sound
