Learning at home for the week beginning 13th July 2020
Hello you brilliant year 2's! So, our year 2 journey is almost at an end and here we are in the final week of our virtual learning. Can you believe we have been learning in this way for 14 weeks? No more Purple Mash or Zoom meetings. Of course, the best news is that we will be able to welcome you back into school for one last time next week. We are VERY excited about that and can't wait to see you again!
We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge WELL DONE and THANK YOU to all the parents and carers who have made a fantastic effort to help with their child's education during Lockdown. Your child may not appreciate it yet but they certainly will in the future. You are truly wonderful.
For maths there are a selection of different types of problems. You don't have to do all of them just pick those you'd like to try. Remember to prove and justify your answers by showing the strategies you used.
Happy learning everyone and take care.
MONDAY 6TH JULY
This week your maths is a recap of place value. For phonics you have a grammar work sheet to work through, don't worry if you don't finish it, just do what you can. We ave added two literacy challenges and a creative challenge linked to change.
Have great week!
